The Adams Fire Department is all volunteer and has been

since it’s inception nearly 200 years ago.  The Adams Fire

Department originally consisted of three separate

companies.  The Tempest Engine Co., the Hook and Ladder

Co. and the Star Hose Co..  All three companies together

formed the Adams Fire Department.

There are many ways you can help.

We are looking for both firefighters and support people.  Everyone can help!

 If you do not live in our district contact your local Fire Department and volunteer there.  They can use your help.

EXPLORER PROGRAM                (Jr. Firefighters)

This is a youth program for people ages 14 to 21.

It is a program through the Boy Scouts of America and sponsored by the Adams Fire Department. 

Explorers learn firefighting skills, safety awareness, and the importance of working together to gain responsibility.
